About the Provider

Dr. Cheryl Langlais has over 30 years of experience practicing in the field of physical therapy.  Starting as an assistant in 1992, she spent the next several years advancing her studies.  A Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology provided a foundation to understanding muscle function at a cellular level. Working with leaders in the field, she gained knowledge of age-related considerations and the effects of various disease processes on functional activity. Subsequently, she earned a Master's degree followed by a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Cheryl has enjoyed working in a variety of clinical settings.  Her focus has been primarily on orthopedic manual therapy with more recent training in dry needling techniques and fall risk prevention. She has worked with all ages with impairments ranging from minor strains to complex medical issues.
